Is Good. Damn that Charlie Kauffman and his awesomeness. And I do not say that about another person often. I give it my personal Soma "must see" seal of approval, which I only give out once or twice a year. And for those of you who trust my movie tastes, (which I think is Swizzle and thats about it)then you know what that means! Even seeing Jim Carey acting in a serious role is intriguing enough.

Doing it De Bono Style

But in a rare turn of genius, I have decided to write my thesis backwards. No, not literally, although I do want to write a publishable political science article oneday that also happens to rhyme. I might make it my life's mission actually. No I am going to write my thesis chronologically backwards. Backwards in time? I am not making it any clearer am I? I am having trouble with exactly I have to put in the middle. I have a vague sense, but I do not have the time to stumble through the middle parts like I did with the beginning, and since I have a more precise sense of what I am doing at the end (and in fact, it is already kind of written) then I figure this is the way to do it. It also resolves a variety of methodological and definitional issues that my thesis is currently caught up in.

I think this is the only practical way possible that I can write the damn thing in 53 days, make it interesting, and set about the important matter that is my leaving the country.

In a daring act of Self-provocation I have now decided to reduce the amount of days until I finish my thesis to 55.

Holy Crap

Well I am going to Japan at the start of August. I have a thesis to write before then. I have tutoring obligations and a half marathon to run. I have to at least try and learn some rudiments of Japanese language. I have my friends to hang with (could not possibly compromise this!). I have had 5 short blacks today. My brain is fried and overstimulated with so many different emotions right now. Probably not the best time to go to see a hypnotist where such things could be exploited for comic effect.

But for those that know me really well, you know I would not have it any other way.
