So, I will be in Christchurch from sometime on the afternoon of the 24rh to the 31st of December. Then I will head of to do some sightseeing of our great land that i never bothered to get round to, or more so, never had the disposable cash to do properly. So, the regular Boxing day deal nothwithstanding, start booking me.......or something

Now, at the risk of sounding arrogant, but lets be honest, im not exactly the lest delusional person ever, I just want to say woot about my thesis. I finally got "the" mark today, and apparently I am worthy of distinction. It wasnt the top mark, which normally not getting would make me a grumpy bitch, but given i pulled the fucker out of my ass in Japan of all countries, I won't complain a bit. Most importantly, it fulfilled the basic requirement that i set for myself in pursuing an academic career in lands our entrepid Claire is hopefully busying herself with by subduing the natives with all sorts of her charms, both commendable and dubious.

Basically, I am relieved! I did good work and kicked butt in my honours year, and I didnt want what was really an ill advised topic to ruin that good work. And thank fack fuckery gods it hasnt.

Relief!

Anyway, I have been so damn busy lately so i really should have something to talk about. Really, i probably have far too much. Stuff has been crazy around here, only settling down this week. For a bit. But being Sempai plus Prefectural Rep for this bunch of JET hoodlums, I will have to step up again this month, organising a trip to a Jazz festival, and to Nagano for a big footy tournament.

Finally, I love the internet. Finally it has provided me with what I wanted, which is easily downloadable All Blacks games!!! It took a while but I can now watch not just merely read about, ,which FYI is sad, sad, sad.
